Growing demand for quiet equipment with lower emissions

COR utilized their RM80 Compact Recycler to crush approx. 4,000 short tons of bricks, blocks, rock and concrete in four working days. The challenge was to produce a ¾” minus material and, even more so, to eliminate the need for removing the rubble by truck and importing new material. Since the location was a typical NYC block with the standard 30’ wide road and having cars parked on both sides, it was to COR’s advantage to have a crusher compact enough to work on a cramped site—approx. 60’ x 70’—alongside the rubble, the finished product and two excavator. In the New York area, COR is facing a growing demand for quiet equipment with lower emissions and more compact units, like the RUBBLE MASTER Compact Recyclers, that are able to deal with high levels of output while producing an extremely valuable ¾” minus end product.

At this confined inner-city site in New York, the final product was reused as general backfill. And the RM80 was hauled off to another on-site application soon thereafter
