Recycled aggregates that even exeed local specifications
Cavaliere on-site recycling (COR) was founded in 2007 with the aim to provide and service the market in recycling of solid aggregate waste products. Stamford, CT based COR keeps material onsite and recycles it to a product that even exceeds local specifications.
COR’s first job was for the complete site development in New Cannan, Connecticut, from demolition to paving. The decisive factor was being the lowest bidder. 90% rock and 10% concrete had to be crushed on site – a total amount of 4,000 short tons of material. The main demands were to produce a ¾’’ minus product, plus a small amount of ¾’’ stone. On the very first day Anthony Rende (centre), in charge of field operations and service, operated the RM80, he already produced 800 to 900 tons. The material was used for stone bedding, as a layer under concrete slabs and as a sub base for parking areas.
